The astronaut in space holding an umbrella near a Tardis illustration was designed for a range of merchandise. The artwork was produced as a single design and as a repeating pattern to be used on all-over prints.
Created as a promotion for the UK Space Agency, this British astronaut is showing the ‘V’ for victory hand gesture made famous by Winston Churchill and is striking a Mary Poppins pose. The Tardis has a Union Jack roof livery inspired by the iconic patriotic Mini Cooper roof.
The illustration was created as vector artwork using Affinity Designer.
